Various techniques are used to help a patient get out of pain and to improve their posture. Chiropractors deal with any issues that involve the muscles, skeletal system, or nerves. Adjustments from an experienced practitioner allow the joints to move more freely and reduces pain. Education on the specific problem that is presented is all part of what Chiropractors do as well.

Born and raised Edmontonian, Elizabeth graduated from MacEwan’s 2200-hour Massage Therapy program in 2016 and has never stopped loving the career since. She enjoys the versatility the profession offers, from each therapist approaching treatments with their own angle, to each client presenting with their own needs and preferences. It’s never a cookie-cutter moment for her!

Elizabeth enjoys being outgoing and chatting with her clients to help develop that relationship and better tackle their treatment needs, but she also knows how to sink into a calm quiet and allow the massage to “speak for itself”. As much as she was known at her previous clinic as the “tough love” therapist for those who enjoy deep tissue pressure, Elizabeth delights in using relaxation massage to bring a sense of relief to her clients after a stressful day.

Appointments where she can give specific detailed focus to particular areas of pain are where she really shines. Don’t be afraid to book her for longer times, as she loves 90-minute and 2-hour massages! She hopes to take extra courses on TMJ treatment as well as pre/post-natal massage to help expand her practice.

When not at work, Elizabeth spends her time listening to music, going for bike rides, and playing tabletop games with her friends and family.
